At Journey Nursing Services, one will encounter a collaborative team culture of respect. Journey Nursing Services supports the idea of team nurses. Nurses should feel comfortable coming to each other and leadership to ask questions or collaborate on patient care and process improvement.
Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical nurses, and caregivers work collaboratively at Journey Nursing Services. All serve in vital roles required to provide excellent daily care and clinical outcomes for our clients. Each person should be treated with respect and value.
Patients will be treated with respect and included in care planning decisions. A care plan that considers a patient's thoughts, feelings, and beliefs is more likely to be adopted by the patient, resulting in improved patient outcomes.
Safety & Respect
Our ultimate goal is to ensure that our clients and staff are safe. As you enter into a care contract it important to understand that you home also become a place of business and there is an expectation that safe and respectful decisions are being made.
Culture of Respect: Patient and family are to treat caregivers with respect. Caregivers are required to treat patient and family with respect. Journey Nursing Services will not tolerate disrespect toward staff/ client. We strive to promote a working environment that is ‘kind and respectful’ for client, family, and caregiver. We encourage client/ staff to reach out to the office if this requirement is not being met. We include our ‘Culture of Respect’ language in each care plan.
Culture of respect integrates into patient rights.
Diversity and Inclusion: Journey Nursing Services values diversity, equity, and inclusion. Care providers are hired based on competency and qualifications. We do not discriminate based on race, color, ethnicity, religion, or gender. We believe that everyone deserves quality care, and clients and staff alike deserve compassion and respect. We do not staff based on discriminatory requests.
