Upon successful completion of the training, you will obtain your BLS Instructor certification and be affiliated with Journey University. You will receive training and access to all required paperwork for maintaining program compliance. As a community-based instructor aligned with Journey University, you will have the opportunity to purchase BLS cards at a discounted rate through the Journey University Affiliation Contract. This will help ensure that your staff remains compliant with the program.
Before attending our course, learners must already possess an American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Provider card. They will then complete a self-study component of the course, followed by initial in-class monitoring to verify their skills and abilities.
What sets our program apart from others is that while most programs only offer affiliation and certification for a certain cost, we provide a full startup package that includes printed instructor books and student books, Instructor Alignment, 10 BLS-P Cards, and resources on where to purchase additional supplies and equipment for a comprehensive offering.
We strongly recommend that you invest in two to three instructors for your establishment when implementing the BLS instructor course. This will ensure continuous training and immediate teaching capability, as each instructor will receive 10 preloaded provider cards upon passing the courses. Our BLS instructor affiliation starter pack will equip them with everything they need to start teaching, and we will provide resources on where to purchase Manikins, AEDs, and necessary equipment.
